Swipe Out Hunger

Swipe Out Hunger was launched in the Spring of 2018 as a way to combat food insecurity among students. Through this program, students can donate unused dining dollars at the end of each semester to help other students who may not be able to afford a meal plan. These donated dining dollars can be used at the Sbisa and Commons dining halls, providing essential meals for students in need.
Donating
A dining dollar drive will be held towards the end of the spring 2025 semester. The drive will take place outside Sbisa and thee Commons dining halls. Each student can donate between $11.25 and $50 in dining dollars to be redistributed to Aggies in need.
Receiving Meals
Student Assistance Services is responsible for adding the donated dining dollars to individual student meal plans.

Partnership
Aggie Dining is the food provider for Texas A&M University, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. Without their partnership, this event would not be possible. Thank you to Aggie Dining for working with us to address food insecurity on the Texas A&M campus. Together, we can ensure that no Aggie goes hungry!
