Swipe Out Hunger was started in the Spring of 2018. This program allows students to donate unused meal swipes at the end of each semester to other students who cannot afford a meal plan. These meals can be used in Sbisa and the Commons dining halls.
Donating
A meal swipe drive will be held the week of December 4th – 8th from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm for the Fall 2023 semester.
The drive will take place outside Sbisa and the Commons dining halls. Each student can make a one-time donation of up to 4 meals. The meal donation does not come out of their daily meal balance.

UPDATE: we have reached our goal of collecting 1,500 meal swipes for the Fall semester so we will NOT be collecting any further meal swipe donations. Thank you for your generous donations! With your support, we can ensure that no Aggie goes hungry this holiday season.
Partnership
Chartwells is the food provider for Texas A&M University. Without the support of Chartwells and Dining Services this event would not be possible. This generous donation and partnership with Swipe Out Hunger will help many students in the past, present, and future. Thank you!
