On Opening Days
Appointments
- Check in with our office volunteer in the front office upon arrival. Please ensure you arrive on time and bring your university-affiliated ID.
- During check-in, you will indicate which perishable items (fridge/freezer) you would like to receive.
- If you are a new client, you will receive a reusable bag for use in the pantry. Returning clients with damaged reusable bags should bring them back to exchange for a new one.
- After check-in, you will shop in the pantry. Volunteers will let you know when it is your turn to enter. You may take as much food as will fit in your reusable bag, while adhering to the limits placed on certain items. Please note that only bags provided by The 12th Can may be used in the pantry.
- Finally, pick up your selected perishable items from our fridge and freezer room on your way out.
Walk-Ins
- Check in with our office volunteer in the front office upon arrival. If you do not have a PantrySOFT account, you will be asked to create one here.
- Please have your TAMU ID ready during check-in.
- Once registered, you will receive a prepackaged bag based on your preference (vegetarian or non-vegetarian).
